The CR1F150MB7 is a TeSys F magnetic latching contactor from Schneider Electric — a 3-pole device rated for 150 A operational current (Ie) at up to 1000 V AC, 25–200 Hz. It's designed for motor control and resistive loads across utilisation categories AC-3, AC-4, and AC-1. The latching mechanism holds the main poles closed without continuous coil power, drawing 1100 VA only during the latching pulse; the unlatching coil draws 7.3 VA. This makes it suited for applications where sustained coil power is undesirable or where a power loss must not drop the load. Motor power capability spans 40 kW at 220–230 V up to 100 kW at 690 V AC, 50/60 Hz. Under UL/CSA, it's rated 125 hp at 575–600 V for 3-phase motors.
The control circuit uses two separate coils: a latching coil rated for 220 V AC 50/60 Hz, 220 V AC 400 Hz, or 220 V DC, and an unlatching coil rated for 24 V AC 50/60 Hz, 24 V AC 400 Hz, or 24 V DC. Both coils operate within 0.85–1.1 Uc voltage limits. Latching time is 35–40 ms; unlatching takes 50–100 ms. This dual-voltage, dual-frequency flexibility means the same contactor can be wired into panels with different control voltages — common on multi-machine lines or export builds — as long as the latching and unlatching supplies are kept separate.
The contactor measures 171 mm deep, 163.5 mm wide, and 170 mm high. Terminals accept lugs or ring terminals for one 120 mm² cable, a connector for one 120 mm² cable, or bars for two cables with a busbar cross-section of 25 x 3 mm. Tightening torque is 18 N.m. Ambient operating temperature range is -15 to 70 °C, storage -60 to 80 °C.
