It is rated for motor control (AC-3, AC-4) and resistive loads (AC-1), with a rated operational current of 150 A at AC-3 duty and a maximum operational voltage of 1000 V AC.
The AC-3 rating of 150 A is the motor-switching current — the value that governs whether this contactor handles a given three-phase induction motor under starting and running conditions. At 690 V AC, it drives up to 100 kW; at 400 V, 75 kW; at 230 V, 40 kW. Breaking capacity is 1500 A at 220–440 V for the power circuit, dropping to 450 A at 1000 V — this is the fault-clearing ability without welding the contacts, important for coordination with upstream protection. The making capacity is 1700 A, confirming the contactor can close onto a starting motor inrush without contact damage. The latching coil draws 1260 VA on pickup (both AC and DC) but only 10 VA to unlatch — the holding current is zero once latched, which is the defining advantage of a magnetic-latching design. Control voltage is 440 V AC 50/60 Hz, with an operating range of 0.85 to 1.1 times that voltage for both latching and unlatching.
Terminals accept lugs, ring terminals, bars up to 120 mm², or two 25 x 3 mm bars; tightening torque is 18 N·m. Operating temperature range is -15 to 70 °C, storage -60 to 80 °C. The TH protective treatment indicates tropicalisation for humid environments. Altitude derating starts above 3000 m.
