Overview
The CR1F185G7 is a Schneider TeSys F magnetic latching contactor rated for 185 A switching current across 3 poles (3 NO), energized by a 127 V AC/DC coil. It carries AC-3, AC-1, and AC-4 utilization categories and is certified to UL, CSA, CE, EAC, and UKCA standards. The latching coil draws 1750 VA inrush (AC or DC) and holds at 11 VA, with an average impedance of 0.36 mOhm at 275 A / 50 Hz. The contactor is rated for 1000 V insulation and mounts horizontally or vertically.
At 440 V the contactor switches 162 A in AC-3 duty. The 2100 A rated making capacity and 1.8 kA breaking capacity (ICU) suit it for distribution panels with moderate fault levels. Associated fuse ratings are 200 A aM, 315 A BS88, or 315 A gG at ≤ 440 V, so coordination with upstream protection is straightforward.
Compared to the HDMCT150S1 (150 A, wire-lead connections), the CR1F185G7 offers a higher 185 A switching current and bolted power terminals, suiting it for larger motor loads and panel-mounted bus connections rather than pigtail-style wiring.
