The CR1F2654GZ7 is a TeSys F magnetic latching contactor from Schneider Electric, rated for 265 A in AC-4 duty at ≤440 V. The 4-pole configuration (4 NO) and 127 V DC low-consumption control circuit suit applications where the coil must hold position without continuous power draw, such as in battery-backed or UPS-fed control panels.
The headline 265 A AC-4 rating governs motor reversing or jogging duty. For less demanding loads, the contactor also carries AC-3 (squirrel-cage motor starting) and AC-1 (resistive) ratings — the conventional free-air thermal current Ith is 350 A at 40 °C. Motor power equivalents span 147 kW at 1000 V AC down to 75 kW at 220–230 V AC, with UL/CSA horsepower ratings from 175 hp at 575–600 V to 60 hp at 200–208 V. The 127 V DC control coil has latching and unlatching limits of 0.85–1.1 Uc, and average consumption is 500 W DC latching, 40 W DC unlatching — the low holding power is the key advantage of a magnetic latching design.
Integration notes
Mounting dimensions: 8.4 in (213 mm) deep, 9.6 in (244.5 mm) wide, 8.0 in (203 mm) tall. Power connections accept lugs, ring terminals, or bars — the main circuit terminals handle up to 240 mm² conductors, with a tightening torque of 35 N.m. The associated fuse rating is 315 A aM or 400 A gG at ≤440 V.
