The CR1F265F7: Square D TeSys F magnetic latching contactor, 3-pole, rated 265 A in AC-4 duty and 132 kW motor power at 400 V. Latching design holds the contacts without continuous coil power — no dropout on a supply blip, and no coil heating when idle.
What the AC-4 rating tells you
That 265 A is under AC-4 (motor inching/plugging), which is the tougher duty class. For resistive switching (AC-1) the contactor handles 350 A. Per-pole dissipation runs 39 W at AC-1, 22 W at AC-3 — thermal rise in the panel is manageable but not negligible at 40 °C ambient. Control circuit takes 110 V AC or DC. Latching coil draw is 1800 VA (or 1800 W DC) for the latch pulse, 12 VA (or 12 W DC) to unlatch. Mechanical life is 1 million cycles. The operating time is 40–75 ms latching, 50–100 ms unlatching — fast enough for motor sequencing but not for solid-state switching speeds.

Bolted power connections accept lugs, ring terminals, or bars up to 240 mm² per pole. Tightening torque is 35 N·m. The dimensions are 8.4 in deep × 7.9 in wide × 8.0 in tall — make sure your DIN-rail or backplate layout has clearance for the magnetic-latching solenoid projection. Rated short-time withstand current (Icw) is 2200 A at 40 °C for 10 s, dropping to 480 A at 10 minutes. That gives thermal headroom for stalled motor conditions during coordination studies.
