The Schneider Electric TeSys F CR1F265N7 is a three-pole bistable magnetic contactor rated for AC-3 duty at 265 A (440 V) and AC-1 at 350 A (40 °C). The control circuit is 415 V AC 50/60 Hz, with a latching consumption of 1600 VA and unlatching consumption of 8 VA. This is a current-production part (Active lifecycle status).
The AC-3 rating of 265 A at 440 V governs motor switching — this contactor handles squirrel-cage motors up to that current during starting and running. The AC-1 rating of 350 A covers resistive loads like heaters. The conventional free-air thermal current (Ith) is 350 A at 40 °C, which is the thermal limit for the power circuit in open air. The rated breaking capacity is 2200 A at 500 V and 2450 A at 220–440 V, so it can interrupt fault currents up to those levels without welding contacts. The associated fuse ratings (315 A aM, 400 A BS88, 400 A gG) tell you what upstream fuse to coordinate for short-circuit protection.
This contactor is designed for motor control in industrial panels — switching pumps, conveyors, compressors, and fans. The bistable (latching) coil holds the contactor closed without continuous power, which saves energy and reduces coil heating in applications where the contactor stays energized for long periods. The bolted connection terminals suit high-current power circuits in fixed installations.
