The Schneider Electric TeSys F CR1F6304Q7 is a magnetic latching contactor — it stays in its last commanded position without continuous coil power, which means no holding current and less heat in the panel. It's a 4-pole normally-open device rated for 630 A operational current at up to 1000 V AC, covering utilisation categories AC-1 (resistive), AC-3 (squirrel-cage motor starting), and AC-4 (plugging/inching). Motor power ratings span 200 kW at 220–230 V up to 450 kW at 690–1000 V AC, 50/60 Hz. For UL/CSA installations, it's rated 250 hp at 200–208 V through 800 hp at 575–600 V, three-phase.
Control and coil considerations
The control circuit is 380 V AC 50/60 Hz, with both latching and unlatching operating limits of 0.85–1.1 Uc. Latching draws 2300 VA (AC or DC); unlatching draws only 11 VA. Operating time is 40–80 ms to latch, 50–100 ms to unlatch.
Mounts on a notched AM1-EC rail. Dimensions: 15.3 inches wide, 12.0 inches high, 10.04 inches deep — plan your enclosure depth accordingly. Power connections use bars sized 60 x 5 mm, torqued to 513.3 lbf·in (58 N·m). Associated fuse rating is 630 A aM or gG at ≤ 440 V for the power circuit.
Breaking capacity and durability
Rated breaking capacity reaches 6300 A at 220–440 V, 5400 A at 500 V, 4600 A at 660/690 V, and 3200 A at 1000 V for the power circuit. Making capacity is 6740 A rms.
Compliant with IEC 60947-4, NF C 63-110, VDE 0660, BS 5424, and JEM 1038. Rated insulation voltage is 1000 V per IEC 60947-4 and BS 775, with a VDE 0110 group C rating of 1500 V. Altitude rating is 3000 m without derating. Protective treatment is TH (tropicalized).
