The EZS160F3100 is a 3-pole 100 A MCCB from the EasyPact EZS series, using a thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit. The 70 kA Icu at 240 V AC and 36 kA at 400 V AC means it interrupts a fault up to that level without blowing apart; on a 400 V panel with high available fault current, that 36 kA rating is the one that decides if this breaker holds or you need a current-limiting fuse upstream. Pollution degree 3 (IEC 60947-1) means it's rated for the conductive dust and humidity you get inside an unsealed industrial enclosure — no extra conformal coating needed for a typical panel room. Fixed-mount, front-connected, 3D protected poles with neutral on the left. Mounts to a backplate, not a DIN rail — so you're bolting it into a panel, not snapping it onto a hat rail.
Built and tested to EN 60947-2 and IEC 60947-2, which covers the full coordination and endurance testing for molded-case breakers in distribution. The GB 14048.2 ratings confirm it passes the Chinese national standard — relevant if the panel is destined for a China-based line or needs CCC mark traceability.
Mechanical and electrical endurance
Rated for 25,000 mechanical cycles and 25,000 electrical cycles at 415 V at half rated current (In/2) per IEC 60947-2. At full rated current at 400 V, the GB standard rates it for 8,000 cycles. For a panel that sees a few operations a day — like a feeder breaker in a conveyor line — that's years of service. For a welding press that cycles every 30 seconds, you'd want a higher-endurance breaker.
