160 A MCCB for distribution — TM-D trip, 25 kA at 400 V
It delivers 25 kA Icu at 380/400 V AC 50/60 Hz per EN/IEC 60947-2, and 40 kA Icu at 220/240 V AC. The trip provides both short-circuit (magnetic) and overload (thermal) protection in a single fixed-tolerance package — the long-time pickup is fixed at 1 In, so no field adjustment of the thermal curve.
Breaking capacity steps down with system voltage: 40 kA Icu at 220/240 V, 25 kA at 380/400 V, 25 kA at 415 V, and 20 kA at 440 V. The utilisation category is A (no intentional short-time delay), so it trips instantaneously on magnetic pickup. For selectivity with downstream breakers, the fixed thermal-magnetic curve limits coordination to a current-based (not time-delayed) scheme.
The connection pitch is 35 mm, and the neutral position is left. The enclosure is IP40 (finger-safe) and IK07 impact-rated.
