The G12E4A20 is a fixed-mount GoPact MCCB 125 with a 20 A thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit protecting four poles (4D). Rated 20 A at 40 °C and 15 kA breaking capacity at 380/415 V AC, it is sized for distribution duty in a 415 V AC 50/60 Hz panel. The TM-D trip unit gives LI protection: thermal L for overload (inverse-time, responds to sustained overcurrent) and magnetic I for short-circuit (instantaneous above a set threshold). This is a Category A breaker — no intentional short-time delay, so it trips fast on a hard fault. Use it in a distribution board where selectivity downstream is handled by smaller branch breakers, not by deliberate delay. The 440 V AC rated insulation voltage and isolation suitability per EN/IEC 60947-2 mean it can positively disconnect — show me the padlock provision on the toggle if you are using it for LOTO.
Backplate-mounted, fixed position. The 25 mm connection pitch and 100 mm width fit standard distribution board cutouts. IP20 finger-safe terminals — wire it in an enclosure rated for the environment.
Standards compliance
The isolation marking per EN/IEC 60947-2 is your evidence for a visible-break disconnect — if it's not locked, it's not safe, but this breaker is rated to be the isolation point.
