The TM-D trip unit combines thermal overload (L) and magnetic short-circuit (I) protection. The thermal element tracks heating from sustained overloads; the magnetic element reacts instantaneously to high faults. This is a Category A breaker — not intended for current-limiting duty, so let-through energy is higher than a current-limiting design. Rated insulation voltage is 440 V AC, and operational voltage is 415 V AC 50/60 Hz, both per EN/IEC 60947-2.
Installation notes
Connection pitch is 25 mm. Both line and load connections are front-access screw terminals. Neutral position is left, which matters for busbar alignment in a multi-breaker panel. IP20 finger protection on the front, so it's safe for open-panel installation but not washdown environments. Operating altitude 0–2000 m without derating; derate above 2000 m up to 5000 m.
