Product details

The GS1QQG3 is a TeSys GS fuse switch disconnector body — a 3-pole, DIN-rail or plate-mount unit rated for 400 A conventional free-air thermal current at 40 °C. In AC-23B duty, it makes 4000 A and breaks 3200 A at 400 V. For DC-23A/B, rated operational current is 200 A at 440 V with poles not juxtaposed, or 315 A at the same voltage if poles are separated. It meets IEC 60947-3 (switch-disconnector standard) plus IEC 60269-1 and IEC 60269-2 for fuse coordination. Fire resistance is specified at 850 °C for the fuse cover and 960 °C for the body, per IEC 60695-2-1.

The operating handle is on the external left side. Power circuit connections accept bars or screw terminals for 185 to 240 mm² flexible cable; tightening torque is 25 N·m on both bar and screw-terminal connections. With the terminal cover fitted, the IP20 rating protects against finger contact — standard for inside a locked panel.

This part is marked obsolete by the manufacturer. No direct successor is listed in the evidence.

Frequently asked questions

What are the key ratings I need to match for a replacement?

The headline rating is 400 A conventional free-air thermal current at 40 °C. For motor switching (AC-23B), it makes 4000 A and breaks 3200 A at 400 V. The rated insulation voltage is 800 V AC, impulse withstand is 8 kV, and it accepts T2 DIN fuses. Any replacement must match or exceed these figures for the same duty.

What standards does this part comply with?

It is designed to IEC 60947-3 (switch-disconnector), IEC 60269-1, and IEC 60269-2 (fuse coordination). Fire resistance is tested to IEC 60695-2-1 at 850 °C for the fuse cover and 960 °C for the body.
