It covers motor protection from 4 to 6.3 A (thermal adjustment range) and is wired for a 115 VAC 50/60 Hz control coil. Rated for AC-3 utilization (squirrel-cage motor switching), it handles 2.2 kW at 400/415 V and 3 kW at 500 V. The Type 2 coordination rating means that under a short-circuit fault the starter remains functional — no component replacement needed after a fault up to its 130 kA breaking capacity at 400/415 V (per IEC 60947-4-1). That's a real maintenance-savings spec for a panel where uptime matters.
Integration notes
The unit measures 90 mm wide by 186.8 mm high by 111.9 mm deep — a standard TeSys Deca footprint that fits directly onto a DIN rail or panel-mount plate. The 3-pole reversing contactor and breaker are pre-wired through the combination block, so installation is one mechanical mount plus the control-circuit wiring (115 VAC coil). The magnetic trip is fixed at 78 A, which is well above the thermal setting range — that's the short-circuit protection element. For motor branch circuits, the thermal adjustment (4–6.3 A) sets the overload protection; the magnetic trip handles the fault current.
