It uses a thermal-magnetic trip unit, so the thermal element protects against sustained overloads while the magnetic element handles short-circuit faults up to 9.3 A magnetic tripping current.
The 45 mm width and 78.5 mm depth fit standard enclosure spacing — plan for that depth when laying out gland plates or busbar clearance. IP20 finger-safe terminals, so it's suited for enclosed panels where personnel access is controlled. Screw-clamp terminals accept 1 to 6 mm² solid or 1.5 to 6 mm² flexible cable, torqued to 1.7 N·m.
Ratings that matter for motor protection
At 400/415 V AC 50 Hz, this breaker covers 0.12 kW and 0.18 kW motors; at 690 V AC it covers 0.37 kW. Phase failure sensitivity is built in per IEC 60947-4-1, so it will trip if one phase drops out — prevents single-phasing damage on a motor. Electrical durability is 100,000 cycles at rated current in AC-3 duty (motor switching), matching the mechanical durability of 100,000 cycles.
