TeSys GV2ME motor circuit breaker for 1 A loads
The Schneider GV2ME053 is a 1 A thermal-magnetic motor circuit breaker from the TeSys Deca range, rated for 3-pole motor protection with a breaking capacity of 100 kA at 230–690 V AC — enough to act as the primary short-circuit protector in a motor branch circuit. The 1 A rated current covers small motors up to 0.25 kW at 400 V, while the magnetic trip threshold at 15.1 A clears hard shorts fast. Phase failure sensitivity is built in, so it drops the load on single-phasing — a standard requirement per IEC 60947-4-1. Power dissipation is 2.5 W per pole; the spring terminals accept 1–6 mm² solid or ferrule-ended stranded. IP20 enclosure suits clean panel environments; fire resistance to 960 °C.
