Schneider Electric's GV2ME06A is a 3-pole thermal-magnetic motor circuit breaker from the TeSys Deca range, sized for a 1.6 A line rated current. It clips onto a 35 mm DIN rail or bolts on with an adapter plate – no shop, no crane, let's go. Rated at 1.6 A, this little dark grey box handles motor starts up to 0.55 kW at 400 V or 1.1 kW at 690 V. The thermal-magnetic trip gives you both overload and short-circuit protection in one unit, with phase failure sensitivity built in. Breaking capacity sits at 100 kA up to 690 V AC – that's a serious shortcut clearance for most industrial panels. You can often skip a separate fuse ahead of it. Rated for AC-3 and AC-3e duty, it's designed for the inrush of direct-on-line motors. Power dissipation is 2.5 W per pole – keep that in the enclosure calcs if you're stacking several.
