The Schneider GV2ME106 is a 3-pole motor circuit breaker from the TeSys GV2 range, sized for protecting 2.2 kW motors at 400 V or 3 kW at 500 V. Its thermal-magnetic trip unit handles sustained overloads and short circuits with a 6.3 A continuous rating. Magnetic trip is fixed at 91 A, so it clears fast on a solid bolted fault.

Mounting and installation

Horizontal or vertical orientation is acceptable. Terminal lugs accept ring terminals from 1 to 6 mm², and the 45 mm width leaves room for adjacent units in a motor starter combination. IP20 finger-safe enclosure with IK04 impact resistance. Fire rating meets 960 °C glow-wire test per IEC 60695-2-11.

Designed and tested to EN/IEC 60947-2, EN/IEC 60947-4-1, UL 60947-4-1, CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1, and relevant sections of IEC/EN 60335. Phase-failure sensitive per IEC 60947-4-1; suitable for isolation per IEC 60947-1.
