The GV2ME10A is a 3-pole thermal-magnetic motor circuit breaker from the TeSys Deca range, rated 6.3 A continuous current. It's built for motor protection – the thermal element handles overloads, and the magnetic trip pops at 91 A for short circuits. The key number for a commissioning engineer: 100 kA breaking capacity at 230/240 V AC. That's enough to clear a bolted fault in a motor control center without taking out the whole line.
Panel fit and wiring
Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail – the standard for most MCC buckets. It's 45 mm wide and 78.5 mm deep, so it nests next to a contactor without overhanging the gland plate. Terminals accept 0.5–2.5 mm² solid and 0.5–4 mm² flexible (without ferrule). IP20 on the front face keeps fingers out. No adapter needed unless you're panel-screwing it.
Sourcing and lifecycle
Schneider still lists this as current production – no last-time-buy window closing, no panic sourcing. We quote it against your order code on an RFQ. If your BOM calls GV2ME10A, this is the part. Lead time and pricing come back on the quote; no need to chase a surplus broker.
Standards and compliance
Carries the approvals a panel shop needs: EN/IEC 60947-2 and 60947-4-1, UL 60947-4-1, CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1, plus IEC/EN 60335 for appliance applications. Also suited for isolation per IEC 60947-1. If your quality doc control needs a certificate, this breaker has the pedigree.
