Rated at 6.3 A continuous (In), it's sized for a 2.2 kW motor on a 400/415 V three-phase supply, or up to 4 kW at 690 V. Breaking capacity is 100 kA Icu at 400/415 V AC per IEC 60947-2, which means it can safely interrupt a fault current up to that level without welding contacts or cascading upstream — a strong SCCR figure for a 6 A frame.
IP20 finger-safe protection when open-mounted, so it's suitable for enclosed panels where the front face is behind a door. The dark grey housing carries an IK04 impact rating — tough enough for routine panel access. Wiring is via screw-clamp terminals accepting up to 6 mm² solid or 4 mm² flexible with ferrule. Torque to 1.7 N·m. The power circuit can take two conductors per terminal, handy for daisy-chaining to a contactor or overload relay.

Phase-failure sensitive per IEC 60947-4-1 — it will trip if one phase drops out, preventing single-phasing damage to the motor. Rated for uninterrupted duty (unlimited on-time) per IEC 60947-4-1. Electrical durability is 100,000 cycles at rated current in AC-3 (motor switching) duty; mechanical durability matches at 100,000 cycles. That's a solid service life for a panel-mounted motor starter.
Certified to EN/IEC 60947-2 (circuit-breaker standard) and EN/IEC 60947-4-1 (contactor/motor-starter standard), plus UL 60947-4-1 and CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1 for North American installations. Also tested to IEC/EN 60335 for appliance applications (Annex JJ and Clause 30.2 glow-wire). Fire resistance tested to 960 °C per IEC 60695-2-11 (glow-wire). Climatic withstand conforms to IACS for marine environments. Operating altitude is limited to 2000 m without derating.
