The GV2ME10K2B7 is a TeSys GV2-ME reversing DOL combination starter — a single-package unit integrating a 3-pole motor circuit breaker (type GV2ME), a combination block (GV2AF01), and a 3-pole reversing contactor, all pre-wired for reversing duty. Thermal protection adjusts from 4 to 6.3 A, and the control circuit runs on 24 V AC 50/60 Hz. Rated for AC-3 utilisation category, it delivers 50 kA breaking capacity (Iq) at 400/415 V and 440 V, and 50 kA at 500 V, all conforming to IEC 60947-4-1. Coordination type is Type 1.
The 4...6.3 A thermal adjustment range sets the motor full-load current window. For a 2.2 kW motor at 400/415 V or a 3 kW motor at 440/500 V, this starter is sized correctly — the magnetic trip threshold is 78 A, which clears a locked-rotor event without nuisance tripping on normal starting inrush. The Type 1 coordination allows the contactor to be damaged during a fault and require replacement, but the breaker clears the fault. The reversing contactor pair is built in, so no external reversing contactor or mechanical interlock is needed. The 24 V AC control coil matches standard control transformer outputs in many panels.
