The GV2ME14K1Q7 is an active-production TeSys GV2-ME direct-on-line (DOL) combination starter from Schneider Electric. It integrates a 3-pole motor circuit breaker and a 3-pole contactor into a single block, using the GV2AF01 auxiliary contact block for feedback. The thermal protection adjustment range is 6...10 A, and the control circuit voltage is 380/400 V AC 50/60 Hz — so it's a self-contained unit for starting and protecting a three-phase motor on a 400 V line.
The magnetic tripping current is 138 A, meaning the instantaneous magnetic release will trip on a short-circuit or high-inrush condition above that level, protecting the motor and downstream wiring. At 440 V the breaking capacity drops to 15 kA, and at 500 V to 6 kA, so the supply voltage matters for SCCR coordination. Motor power ratings are 3 kW at 400/415 V and up to 5.5 kW at 500 V, all in AC-3 utilisation category (starting squirrel-cage motors, switching off running motors). The coordination type is Type 1, meaning after a fault the starter may need contact replacement, but the panel and cables stay intact.
The 45 mm width (3 module spaces) means it fits in a typical distribution board without crowding adjacent devices. The depth of 87 mm is the dimension that matters for enclosure depth clearance; most 120 mm deep enclosures will accommodate it with room for wiring.
