Overview
The HMIGTO5310FW is a Schneider Harmony GTO-series 10.4" color touchscreen HMI, order code HMIGTO5310FW, with a 640 x 480 pixel VGA display and resistive touch film rated for 1,000,000 cycles. The unit mounts flush via four screw clamps and is cooled by natural convection.
This HMI runs Vijeo Designer configuration software version 6.1 or higher and supports a broad protocol set including Modbus, Modbus TCP, Uni-TE, Modbus Plus, FIPWAY, and third-party protocols for Mitsubishi, Omron, Rockwell, and Siemens controllers — covering most multi-vendor machine cells without a protocol gateway. The unit carries 96 MB of Flash EPROM for application storage and 512 KB of internal SRAM backed by a lithium battery for 100 days of data retention (5 days typical, 10 years shelf life). An SD card slot provides removable memory for recipe transfer or log export. Brightness adjusts across 16 levels via touch or software. The resistive touch panel resolves 1024 x 1024 touch points, adequate for gloved-hand operation in industrial environments.

Flush mounting requires a panel cut-out; the unit secures with four screw clamps. Dimensions are 271.78 mm wide by 213.36 mm high by 55.88 mm deep — verify cut-out clearance before panel layout. Supply is 24 V DC from an external source; the unit draws 12 W. Natural convection cooling means no fan — keep clearance around the enclosure for airflow. The IP20 rear section is suitable for clean, dry cabinet environments.
