Overview
The HMIGXU5512 is a Schneider Harmony Easy GXU Magelis advanced touchscreen panel, order code HMIGXU5512, with a 10.1-inch LCD touch screen at 800x480 WVGA resolution and 65536 colours.
This panel runs Vijeo Designer Basic configuration software, which handles screen layout, tag binding, and alarm management. The 48 MB application memory and 128 MB DDR determine how large a project it can hold — enough for a medium-sized machine cell with multiple pages, trend charts, and recipe tables. A separate 128 kB backup memory retains critical parameters across power cycles. Connectivity includes Ethernet, USB type A, USB mini-B, and two serial ports. The backlight is rated for 20000 hours.
Applications
Magelis Easy GXU panels of this class are specified for packaging lines, food-and-beverage processing, light assembly stations, and material-handling cells where an IP65-rated front panel is required for washdown or dusty environments. The 10.1-inch size fits standard panel cut-outs and provides enough screen real estate for a process overview with live data and alarm banners.
