Overview
The HMISTO501 is a Schneider Harmony STO operator interface, order code HMISTO501, built around a 3.4 in backlit monochrome STN LCD with 200 x 80 pixel resolution and an analogue touch panel offering 16 contrast levels and 8 brightness levels. It runs on a 24 V DC supply drawing 5.0 W, carries 16 MB of application memory with 128 kB of backup data, and is rated IP20 with a NEMA 4X front panel for indoor use.
The HMISTO501 presents a backlit monochrome STN LCD that displays text and simple graphics at 200 x 80 pixels — enough for status screens, alarm lists and numeric entry on a small machine or skid. The analogue touch panel supports 16 contrast levels and 8 brightness levels, letting the operator adjust readability under varying ambient light. Its 16 MB of application memory stores the HMI project pages and logic; the 128 kB backup retains data and retentive variables when power is removed. The 5.0 W power budget keeps heat low inside a sealed enclosure, and the 24 V DC supply matches standard industrial control panels.
