Its rated operational current is 16 A at ≤ 440 V AC in utilisation category AC-1, which means it is sized for resistive heating, lighting, or transformer loads — not motor starting, where the AC-3 rating would govern. The coil is a 220 V AC 50 Hz wide-range type, with a drop-out threshold of 0.3 to 0.6 Uc and an operational range of 0.7 to 1.25 Uc across -5 to 55 °C. The pole contact composition is 2 normally open and 2 normally closed, with no auxiliary contact block included.
Integration notes
The contactor occupies 45 mm width on a DIN rail or plate mount, with a depth of 80 mm and height of 74 mm. Power and control circuit connections use screw clamp terminals accepting 1 to 4 mm² flexible or solid wire. Tightening torque is 1.2 N.m for both power and control circuits. The heat dissipation is 2 to 3 W for the control circuit and 1 W per pole in AC-1 duty, so panel thermal calculations should account for roughly 7 W total at full load. The associated fuse rating is 12 A gG at ≤ 690 V for coordination type 1. Electrical durability is 150,000 cycles in AC-1 duty. The contactor operates without derating up to 3000 m altitude.
