The LC1E1201E7 is a 3-pole contactor from Schneider Electric's Easy TeSys Control range, rated 12 A in AC-3 duty at ≤440 V — that's the motor-switching current, not the resistive load rating. It's certified to EN/IEC 60947-4-1 (the contactor standard) and EN/IEC 60947-5-1 (control-circuit devices), plus the GB/T equivalents for Chinese markets. Fire resistance tested to 850 °C per IEC 60695-2-1, so it's acceptable for appliance and HVAC panels that require glow-wire compliance.
IP2X finger-safe terminals; wire it with the panel dead, as the front face doesn't fully shroud the busbars. Non-overlap time between NC and NO contacts is guaranteed at 1.5 ms on both energisation and de-energisation. That matters if you're interlocking a reversing starter — the NC drops before the NO picks up, so you don't get a phase-to-phase short on the transition.
Where it fits in a panel
This is a motor-control contactor sized for a 12 A AC-3 load — think small conveyors, fans, pumps up to about 5.5 kW at 400 V. It also carries AC-3e for enhanced motor-switching endurance. Altitude rated to 3000 m without derating, so it works in high-altitude installations without recalculating the thermal curve. The TH protective treatment (pollution degree 3 per IEC 60068-2-30) means it's tested for humid, mildly corrosive environments — typical for a non-climate-controlled industrial panel, not for direct washdown.
