Part identity and headline rating
Its headline rating is 12 A in AC-3 utilisation category at ≤ 440 V, which is the current it can make and break under motor-starting conditions — the figure that governs real-world sizing for induction motor duty.
Rated in AC-3, AC-3e, and AC-1 categories. AC-1 (resistive) rating is higher, but the AC-3 figure is the binding constraint for inductive loads. The coil is 220 V AC 50/60 Hz; confirm control voltage matches your panel supply before specifying. Operates without derating up to 3000 m altitude. Above that, consult the thermal derating curve. Ambient temperature range is -5 to 55 °C operation, -20 to 70 °C at coil rated voltage, with storage from -60 to 80 °C. Mechanical robustness: vibrations at 1.5 Gn (open) and 3 Gn (closed) over 5–300 Hz; shock at 7 Gn open, 10 Gn closed for 11 ms. This is standard for industrial panel mounting but worth noting if the contactor is mounted on a machine frame subject to repeated shock.
Mounts on DIN rail or plate. IP2X finger protection from the front; the contactor is intended for installation inside an enclosure that provides the overall IP rating. This ensures that make-before-break cannot occur in safety interlock or reversing starter circuits where overlapping contacts would cause a phase-to-phase short.
Certified to EN/IEC 60947-1, 60947-4-1, and 60947-5-1, plus the corresponding GB/T standards. Also complies with EN/IEC 60335-1 Clause 30.2 and EN/IEC 60335-2-40 Annex JJ for glow-wire / fire resistance in appliance applications.
