Active production, DC-rated switching
The LC1E200PCH2S260N is a current-production Easy TeSys Control contactor from Schneider Electric, rated for 200 A continuous on resistive loads with a maximum switching voltage of 1000 V DC. The control circuit runs on 12...32 V DC, pulling 28 W inrush and 2.4 W hold-in — the wide dropout range (0.1...0.75 Uc) means it drops out cleanly even on a sagging battery bus.
DC switching limits and short-time ratings
This is a 1-pole contactor with 1 NO main contact, designed for DC switching. The 1000 V DC maximum switching voltage and 1500 V rated insulation voltage (IEC 60947-4-1) mean it handles high-voltage DC bus work — solar combiner boxes, battery banks, or DC motor fields. Short-time ratings let it ride through surges: 250 A for 15 minutes, 320 A for 5 minutes, 600 A for 30 seconds, and 900 A for 10 seconds. That's useful for capacitor pre-charge or inrush from a DC bus with high capacitance. Minimum switching is 0.1 A at 8 V DC — below that the contacts may not wet cleanly, so don't use it for dry-circuit signal switching.
Panel fit and environmental specs
The contactor measures 2.6 in wide by 2.9 in tall by 3.2 in deep (66.5 x 74.3 x 81.3 mm), with vertical mounting support. Power circuit terminals use M8 bolts with flat and spring washers, torqued to 70.8...88.5 lbf·in (8...10 N·m). Operating temperature spans -40...185 °F (-40...85 °C), and it runs at altitudes up to 4000 m without derating. Mechanical durability is 300,000 cycles; electrical durability on the 200 A resistive load at 750 V DC is 1500 cycles for breaking-only duty (0.6 s closed, 5.4 s open). At 1000 V DC, that drops to 1000 cycles.
