The 50 A AC-1 rating is the headline figure: it defines the continuous current the main poles can carry when switching resistive loads (heaters, lighting banks) at up to 415 V AC. For motor loads (AC-3 duty), this contactor is not rated — the AC-1 category limits its application to non-inductive circuits. The 4 NO pole configuration means all four poles close on coil energisation, with no normally-closed auxiliary built in. The associated fuse recommendation is 50 A gG at ≤690 V, coordination type 1 for the power circuit. The maximum operating rate is 1800 cycles per hour at 60 °C.
Mounts on DIN rail or a plate, with dimensions of 56 mm wide, 84 mm high, and 93 mm deep — a compact footprint for a 4-pole 50 A contactor. Power circuit terminals accept 1 to 10 mm² flexible with cable end (1.5 to 10 mm² solid); control circuit terminals accept 1 to 4 mm² flexible without cable end. Tightening torque is 1.5 N·m for power circuit screws, 1.2 N·m for control circuit screws.
Protective treatment is TH per IEC 60068 (tropicalised). Operating altitude is up to 3000 m.
