The Schneider Electric LC1E2501B7 is a 3-pole contactor from the Easy TeSys Control range, rated for AC-3 duty at 25 A up to 440 V with a 24 V AC 50/60 Hz coil and one NC auxiliary contact.
AC-3 covers starting and plugging of squirrel-cage motors, where the make current is higher than the break current. The same contactor also carries an AC-1 rating for resistive loads, so it can switch heaters or lighting banks at a higher continuous current if needed. The 24 V AC coil draws from a control transformer or dedicated supply. The 50/60 Hz rating means it works on either mains frequency without derating.
