The 25 A AC-3 rating governs motor switching — that's the current the contactor can make and break under inductive motor load, not just carry. The 440 V AC coil means the control circuit needs a 440 V supply at 60 Hz; don't try a 50 Hz coil voltage or a different control voltage without verifying the pickup and dropout curve. The 1.5 ms non-overlap time between NC and NO contacts is baked in — no external interlock needed for simple reversing or star-delta circuits.
