The LC1E250ASCH2S260N is a single-pole, normally open contactor from the Easy TeSys range, designed for DC resistive load switching up to 250 A continuous. It complies with IEC 60947-4-1 and GB/T 14048.4, making it a drop-in replacement for CE-marked panels and global installations. Rated for 1000 V DC maximum switching voltage and a control circuit of 12 V DC, this contactor is well-suited for battery disconnect, DC power distribution, and resistive heating applications where one-line interruption is acceptable.
Mounting and Connection Details
Mounting support specifies vertical orientation only — do not mount horizontally. The power circuit uses M8 bolt terminals with flat and spring washers, requiring a tightening torque of 70.8…88.5 lbf·in (8…10 N·m). Control circuit comes with a 2-wire, 40 cm fly lead. Operating altitude is 4000 m without derating, and ambient air temperature range is -40…85 °C for both operation and storage. IP60 protection keeps out dust but not water — install in a suitable enclosure.
Electrical Performance and Lifecycle
Closing time is 30 ms; opening is 15 ms. Control circuit picks up at 0.85–1.1 Uc (12 V DC) and drops out at 0.1–0.75 Uc. Average impedance is 0.5 mOhm at 250 A.
Short-Time Ratings and Thermal Considerations
The contactor can carry 250 A continuously; higher currents are permitted for limited durations: 375 A for 10 min, 500 A for 5 min, 1000 A for 20 s, and 2000 A for 0.3 s. These short-time ratings help coordinate with upstream protective devices. Inrush power is 32 W; hold-in power is 3.5 W.
