The Schneider Electric LC1E3210U5 is a 3-pole contactor from the Easy TeSys Control series, rated for AC-3 and AC-3e duty at 32 A up to 440 V, with a 240 V AC 50 Hz coil and one normally-open auxiliary contact. It is designed for motor control and resistive load switching in control panels, mounting on a plate or DIN rail. The 32 A AC-3 rating means it handles the inrush and running current of a motor load up to that value — the category that governs most standard induction motor switching. The AC-3e variant extends the same duty with enhanced electrical endurance for frequent starts.
The 240 V AC coil at 50 Hz is a fixed control voltage — not a dual-frequency or DC coil. If your panel uses 60 Hz or a different control voltage, this coil will not pull in correctly. The single NO auxiliary contact is built in; any additional auxiliaries would need to be added as separate side-mount blocks. Mechanical robustness is specified for vibration at 1.5 Gn (contacts open) and 3 Gn (contacts closed), and shock at 10 Gn for 11 ms. That covers normal industrial panel conditions but not extreme mobile or marine environments without additional dampening. The contactor carries IP2X finger protection on the enclosure, so it is suitable for open-panel mounting where accidental touch is a concern, but not for washdown or outdoor use without a separate enclosure.
Fire resistance tested to 850 °C per IEC 60695-2-1. Operating altitude is 3000 m without derating. The non-overlap time of 1.5 ms on both energisation and de-energisation between NC and NO contacts is a safety-relevant spec for interlocking circuits.
