The Schneider Electric LC1E65B7 is a 3-pole contactor from the Easy TeSys Control range, rated 65 A in AC-3 and AC-3e utilisation categories at ≤440 V, with a 24 V AC 50/60 Hz coil. It is an active, current-production part. The AC-1 rating (resistive load) and AC-3e (enhanced motor switching) are also listed, giving flexibility for heater banks or high-cycle applications. The 24 V AC coil draws from a standard control transformer; the guaranteed non-overlap time of 1.5 ms between NC and NO contacts on both energisation and de-energisation is relevant for interlocking circuits where a make-before-break condition must be avoided.
Mounts on either a DIN rail or a plate. The 75 mm width and 114 mm depth fit a standard 45 mm DIN-rail footprint; the 127 mm height leaves clearance for gland plates or busbar covers in a typical panel layout. IP2X finger protection means the contactor body prevents access to live parts with a finger-sized probe — adequate for enclosed panels but not for open washdown areas. For food-and-bev or outdoor use, a separate enclosure is required.
Operates from -5 to 55 °C ambient, stores from -60 to 80 °C, and runs at altitudes up to 3000 m without derating. Compliance covers EN/IEC 60947-4-1 (contactors and motor-starters), EN/IEC 60947-5-1 (control-circuit devices), and GB/T equivalents for Chinese markets. Mechanical robustness: closed contacts withstand 3 Gn vibration (5–300 Hz) and 7 Gn shock for 11 ms. Open contacts tolerate 1.5 Gn vibration and 6 Gn shock — a factor to consider if the contactor is mounted on a machine frame subject to impact.
