The LC1E80BD is a 3-pole (3NO) contactor from the Easy TeSys Control range, rated 80 A in AC-3 and AC-3e utilisation categories at ≤440 V, with a 24 V DC coil. That AC-3 rating means it's sized for starting and stopping squirrel-cage induction motors under full load — the 80 A figure is the motor-switching current, not a resistive-heater rating. For resistive loads (AC-1), the contactor handles higher currents, but the AC-3 number is the one that governs motor duty. Mounts on either a plate or a standard DIN rail, so it fits into most panel layouts without a special adapter. The IP20 finger-safe terminals are fine inside an enclosure; no washdown rating here, so keep it behind a panel door.

Operates from -5 to 55 °C ambient, stores from -60 to 80 °C, and can run at up to 70 °C with the coil at rated voltage. Altitude derating kicks in above 3000 m — below that, no reduction needed. Shock and vibration ratings follow IEC 60068-2-7 and -2-6: contactor stays closed under 7 Gn shocks and 3 Gn vibration (5–300 Hz), open under 5 Gn shocks and 1.5 Gn vibration. That's enough for most industrial machinery, including conveyors and compressors mounted near the source.
