What the 95 A AC-3 rating means for your motor load
The LC1E95E7 is a 3-pole contactor from the Easy TeSys Control range, rated for 95 A in AC-3 duty at up to 440 V. AC-3 is the standard utilisation category for squirrel-cage motor starting — the 95 A figure is the current the contactor can make and break across starting and running conditions, not just a resistive-heater rating. That makes it sized for a motor drawing roughly 95 A under full load; for a 400 V three-phase induction motor, that corresponds to around 55 kW.
Mounting and environment — panel integration notes
Mounts on either a DIN rail or a plate, so it fits standard panel layouts. Dimensions are 85 mm wide, 127 mm high, 121 mm deep — the depth is the dimension that sticks out from the mounting surface, so check your gland-plate clearance and door depth if you are packing it into a shallow enclosure.
Compliance and documentation — what the standards cover
The LC1E95E7 carries approvals to EN/IEC 60947-1 (general rules), EN/IEC 60947-4-1 (contactors and motor-starters), and EN/IEC 60947-5-1 (control-circuit devices). It also meets GB/T 14048 equivalents for the Chinese market. Mechanical robustness is specified: 1.5 Gn vibration resistance with the contactor open, 3 Gn when closed; shock resistance of 6 Gn open and 7 Gn closed. That is enough for most industrial machinery but worth checking if the contactor is mounted on a vibrating conveyor or a press.
