The LC1E95R5 is a 3-pole contactor from Schneider Electric's Easy TeSys Control range, rated for 95 A in AC-3 and AC-3e utilisation categories at voltages up to 440 V. The AC-3 rating means it handles starting and stopping of squirrel-cage motors up to that current; AC-3e extends the same duty to energy-efficient motors with higher inrush. It also carries an AC-1 rating for resistive loads, giving you a second curve if the motor spec changes mid-build. The contactor meets EN/IEC 60947-1, 60947-4-1, and 60947-5-1, plus the Chinese GB/T equivalents — so it's accepted in both European and Chinese panel approvals.
This part is obsolete per the manufacturer's status. If you're freezing a new design, look at current Easy TeSys or TeSys Deca ranges and verify the coil voltage and mounting footprint against your panel layout.
Integration notes
Depth is 121 mm, so check clearance to the gland plate or door if you're packing a shallow enclosure. Operates without derating up to 3000 m altitude — fine for most sites, but if you're above that, expect to derate the thermal current. Ambient air temperature range is -20 to 70 °C at the coil, with storage from -60 to 80 °C; operation is limited to -5 to 55 °C. Vibration resistance is 1.5 Gn open and 3 Gn closed (5–300 Hz), shock is 6 Gn open and 7 Gn closed — robust enough for conveyor and pump applications in industrial panels. IP2X finger protection on the contactor body means it's safe for open-panel mounting where operators might reach in, but it's not sealed against dust or water — keep it inside an IP54 or better enclosure.
