For resistive loads (AC-1), the conventional free-air thermal current Ith is 1250 A at 40 °C, so the same contactor handles higher steady-state heater or furnace loads. The coil pulls 250 V DC; verify your control supply delivers that nominal, because the DC standard coil holds in at the listed voltage and drops out reliably below it. Plate-mount only — no DIN-rail adapter on this frame size.
What it connects to and how it performs
Motor power range covers 315 kW at 220–230 V three-phase up to 670 kW at 440 V three-phase — sized for large pumps, compressors, conveyors, and crushers in mining, water, and heavy industrial plants. The rated breaking capacity is 8 kA per IEC 60947-4-1, and the short-time withstand current Icw holds 10 kA for 10 seconds at 40 °C, so it coordinates with upstream 1400 A gG fuses at ≤440 V. Operating altitude is 3000 m without derating; ambient air around the device can run −40 to 60 °C, though the rated operational current assumes ≤55 °C ambient.
Rated insulation voltage Ui is 1000 V per IEC 60947-4-1 and 1500 V per VDE 0110 Group C. Impulse withstand voltage Uimp is 8 kV, overvoltage category III. Protective treatment TH for tropical environments. The control circuit uses screw-clamp terminals accepting 1–4 mm² flexible or solid, with or without cable end.
