TeSys F 3-pole contactor — 200 A AC-3, 24 V AC coil
The Schneider Electric LC1F115B7 is a TeSys F 3-pole contactor rated for 200 A in AC-3 duty at ≤ 440 V, switching motor loads up to 55 kW on a 400 V three-phase line. The 24 V AC control coil (40...400 Hz) pulls in at 0.85 to 1.1 Uc and drops out between 0.2 and 0.55 Uc — a wide dropout margin that helps avoid nuisance reclosing on a sagging control supply. Rated breaking capacity is 920 A per IEC 60947-4-1, and the contactor carries a rated insulation voltage of 1000 V (IEC) or 1500 V (VDE 0110 group C), with overvoltage category III — suitable for fixed-installation distribution panels and motor control centers.
Motor power across common line voltages
The AC-3 motor power table covers 30 kW at 230 V, 55 kW at 400 V, 59 kW at 415 V and 440 V, 75 kW at 500 V, and 80 kW at 690 V. For AC-4 duty, the contactor is rated 18.5 kW at 400 V.
This contactor mounts to a plate (not DIN rail), so factor in the footprint: 6.4 in wide, 6.4 in tall, 6.7 in deep. Power connections accept bar (2 x 20 x 3 mm), ring terminals, or bolted connection up to 95 mm². Torque power terminals to 88.5 lbf·in (10 N·m) and control terminals to 10.6 lbf·in (1.2 N·m). The front face with shrouds provides IP2X finger protection per IEC 60529 and VDE 0106 — no additional guarding needed for basic touch safety in a closed panel.
Operating temperature range is -40 to +140 °F (-40 to +60 °C), with storage down to -76 °F (-60 °C). Protective treatment is TH (tropicalized) for humid environments. Altitude rating is 3000 m without derating. Standards compliance includes IEC 60947-4-1, IEC 60947-1, EN 60947-4-1, EN 60947-1, and JIS C8201-4-1 — covering most global industrial installations. Associated fuse recommendations: 125 A aM or 200 A gG at ≤ 440 V.
