Standards and approvals — what they certify
The LC1F1400UD carries compliance with IEC 60947-4-1, EN 60947-4-1, IEC 60947-1, EN 60947-1, JIS C8201-4-1, UL 60947-4-1, and CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1. Rated insulation voltage (Ui) is 1000 V per IEC 60947-4-1 and UL 60947-4-1, and 1500 V per VDE 0110 group C. Impulse withstand voltage (Uimp) is 8 kV, overvoltage category III. These certifications mean the contactor is accepted in panels destined for North American, European, and Japanese markets without additional agency review.
Mounting is plate-style — no DIN rail adapter. The power circuit uses bar connections accepting two cables or busbars up to 100 x 5 mm cross-section, tightened to 58 N.m. Control circuit wiring uses screw-clamp terminals accepting 1...4 mm² flexible or solid (with or without ferrule), torqued to 1.2 N.m. Dimensions are 438 mm wide, 332 mm high, 238.6 mm deep. At this frame size, panel layout must account for the busbar landing zone and the 58 N.m tightening torque — a torque wrench and busbar support bracket are expected.

Heat dissipation is 10 W for the coil hold-in (10 W at 20 °C) plus 150 W per pole in AC-1 duty. Operating temperature range is -5...40 °C; storage range is -60...80 °C. Maximum operating rate is 600 cycles per hour at 55 °C. Operating time is 50...60 ms closing and 45...60 ms opening. Altitude rating is 3000 m without derating. The protective treatment is TH (tropicalized) for humid environments.
