The LC1F1504MD is a 4-pole DC-operated contactor from the TeSys F family, rated 250 A in AC-1 utilisation category — that's the resistive-load curve, so it's sized for heater banks, lighting, or transformer primaries, not motor starting. The 4 NO power poles and 220 V DC coil make it a straight swap into panels where the control bus is 220 VDC and the load is purely resistive. Plate-mount only; no DIN-rail clip, so factor in the drilling template during panel layout. The 250 A figure holds at 40 °C ambient and ≤ 440 V AC-1. Above that temperature, derate per the thermal curve. The associated fuse recommendation is 160 A aM or 250 A gG at ≤ 440 V — that's the short-circuit protection the contactor expects upstream; don't oversize it or you lose coordination.

Mounts on a plate, not a DIN rail — the 200.5 mm width and 171 mm depth need a drilled backplate with clearance for the power-circuit bolted connections. The control circuit uses screw-clamp terminals accepting 1–4 mm² flexible or solid; torque to 1.2 N·m. Power circuit lugs accept up to 120 mm² ring terminals or bar connections (28), torqued to 18 N·m. The DC coil holds at 220 VDC nominal, drops out between 0.15 and 0.2 Uc — about 33–44 V — so verify your control supply doesn't sag below that during brownout conditions.
