The LC1F1854B7: The 185 A AC-3 rating (at ≤440 V) is the current the contactor can make and break under motor starting conditions — not the continuous thermal current. For resistive loads (AC-1), the thermal current Ith is 275 A at 50 Hz, with an average pole impedance of 0.33 mOhm. The associated fuse recommendation is 200 A aM or 315 A gG at ≤440 V. The 24 V AC coil has a dropout range of 0.2–0.55 Uc, so it releases reliably on undervoltage. Mechanical durability is 10 Mcycles; maximum operating rate is 2400 cycles/hour at 55 °C.
Mounts on a plate (not DIN rail). Dimensions: 174 mm high, 168.5 mm wide, 181 mm deep. Power connections are bolted — bar (25 x 3 mm busbar), ring lugs, or connector for 150 mm² cable. Control circuit uses screw clamp terminals accepting 1–4 mm² flexible or solid. Torque: 1.2 N·m on control, 18 N·m on power. Front face achieves IP2X with shrouds per IEC 60529.
Designed to IEC 60947-4-1, EN 60947-4-1, JIS C8201-4-1, IEC 60947-1, and EN 60947-1. Rated insulation voltage Ui is 1000 V per IEC 60947-4-1, 1500 V per VDE 0110 Group C. Overvoltage category III. Protective treatment TH (tropicalized).
