The LC1F2254B7 is a TeSys F 4-pole contactor rated for 315 A at <= 440 V AC-3 (225 A at <55 °C), switching motor loads up to 110 kW at 380-400 V AC-3. The control circuit is 24 V AC 40-400 Hz, drawing 950-1180 VA inrush and 8.9-10.9 VA hold-in. It ships with screw-clamp terminals for the control circuit and bar/lug/bolted connections for the power circuit — no shrouds in the box, those are ordered separately if you need IP20 front-face protection. Plate-mount only; no DIN-rail adapter in the carton.
The 315 A AC-3 rating governs motor switching — that's the current the contactor can make and break across the inductive load of a squirrel-cage motor. The 110 kW at 400 V AC-3 is the practical motor size this unit handles. Four NO power poles give you independent switching for three-phase plus a neutral or a second load circuit. The 0.32 mOhm impedance per pole at 315 A Ith keeps heat dissipation at 16 W per pole in AC-3 duty, 32 W in AC-1 — factor that into your enclosure thermal budget.
Mounting and wiring checklist
Plate-mount only — the 197 mm height, 168.5 mm width, and 181 mm depth fit a standard backplate. Power-circuit connections accept bar up to 32 x 4 mm, ring lugs or bolted connectors for 185 mm² cable. Control-circuit screw clamps take 1-4 mm² flexible or solid, with or without ferrules. Tighten control terminals to 1.2 N.m, power terminals to 35 N.m. The coil operates from 0.85 to 1.1 Uc (20.4-26.4 V AC) and drops out between 0.2 and 0.55 Uc (4.8-13.2 V AC). Maximum operating rate is 2400 cycles per hour at 55 °C. Mechanical durability is 10 million cycles.
Designed to IEC 60947-1, IEC 60947-4-1, EN 60947-1, EN 60947-4-1, and JIS C8201-4-1. Rated insulation voltage 1000 V per IEC 60947-4-1, 1500 V per VDE 0110 group C. Overvoltage category III. Protective treatment TH (tropicalized). Operating altitude 3000 m without derating. Ambient temperature range -5 to 55 °C operating, -60 to 80 °C storage.
