It carries a conventional free-air thermal current (Ith) of 1000 A at 40°C, and its rated operational current (Ie) in AC-1 duty is also 1000 A at 40°C, up to 440 V AC. This is the contactor body only — no coil is included, so you pair it with a separate coil (e.g., the LX1F series) to match your control voltage.
For motor duty (AC-3), the rating will be lower; check the derating curve. The rated insulation voltage (Ui) is 1000 V per IEC 60947-4-1, and the rated impulse withstand voltage (Uimp) is 8 kV, so it's comfortable in 480 V and 600 V panels with adequate clearance. The rated short-time withstand current (Icw) is 5050 A for 10 seconds, which supports coordination with upstream fuses or breakers in a selective scheme.
Mounting is plate-based — no DIN rail clip on this frame size. The power circuit uses bar connections (2 x 60 x 5 mm), and the tightening torque for the power terminals is 58 N.m (513.3 lbf.in). The front face achieves IP20 with shrouds fitted, which is standard for enclosed panel installation. Dimensions: 12.2 in wide, 12.0 in high, 10.04 in deep — plan your gland plate and busbar clearance accordingly.
The contactor is designed and certified to IEC 60947-4-1, EN 60947-4-1, and JIS C8201-4-1, plus the general standard IEC 60947-1. Overvoltage category III and protective treatment TH (tropicalisation) are standard.
