The LC1G1854BEEA: This TeSys Giga contactor closes in 40...70 ms and opens in 15...50 ms — deterministic enough to hold a 2-second takt time on a weld line. Max operating rate is 600 cycles/h in AC-3 or AC-3e duty, so it sustains continuous high-speed picking without thermal droop. Rated for 185 A in AC-3 motor switching, with an average impedance of 0.00017 Ω keeping voltage drop negligible. 8 million mechanical cycles before wear-out means fewer change-outs over the line’s life. Coil uses built-in bidirectional peak limiting — no additional snubber needed on the 24–48 V AC/DC supply. That saves a component and keeps the PLC output card clean.
