Motor and heavy-load switching
The LC1G2254BEEA is a TeSys Giga frame, four-pole contactor for power switching of motors and resistive loads. The coil accepts 24 to 48 V in both AC and DC, with a built-in bidirectional peak limiter that holds the inrush draw to 220 W. Break and make capacities are rated at 2050 A and 1560 A respectively at 440 V, giving solid margin for IEC AC-3 motor starts or DC switching in the listed categories.
Wiring and panel fit
Mounts on a plate; dimensions are 255 mm high × 143 mm wide × 193 mm deep, with a 35 mm connection pitch between poles. The power circuit accepts busbars up to 25×6 mm or ring-terminal lugs up to 185 mm², bolted connection. Tighten power connections to 18 N·m. The front face is IP2X with shrouds, suitable for open panel environments. Color is dark grey—matches typical TeSys Giga gear.
Duty-cycle and thermal performance
Ith is 330 A at AC-1 and 225 A at AC-3. Maximum operating rate is 600 cyc/h in AC-3 or AC-3e and 300 cyc/h in AC-1, with 8 Mcycles mechanical durability.
