Field-fit notes
Mounts on a plate (not DIN rail) with a 45 mm pole-to-pole pitch. The power terminals accept bar, busbar up to 32×10 mm, bolted lugs up to 185 mm², or ring terminals—no special crimpers. Tightening torque 35 N·m (309.8 lbf·in). Aux contacts are 1 NO + 1 NC. No screwdriver needed for the control side.
Ratings you'll actually use
The headline AC-3 rating is 265 A—that's motor switching at up to 440 V, making 600 cycles/hour. For resistive loads (AC-1) the thermal continuous current Ith is 385 A, but dissipation climbs to 20 W per pole. The AC-3 dissipation is 11 W/pole, so don't box it in a sealed enclosure without derating. Rated breaking capacity 2380 A at 440 V, making capacity 1560 A—fine for high-inrush transformers or capacitor banks (AC-6a/b utilisation). Mechanical endurance is 8 million cycles; B10d for safety functions is 400,000 cycles under nominal load—good for repetitive applications like conveyor interlocking.
