The Schneider Electric LC1K09016SLS207 is a TeSys K series 3-pole contactor rated for 9 A in AC-3 utilisation category at ≤440 V, making it a direct fit for switching small to medium motor loads in control panels. The 72 V DC low-consumption coil draws only 1.8 W at 20 °C and includes an integral suppression device, so no external flyback diode or RC snubber is needed on the coil circuit — just wire the DC supply directly. The main poles are 3 NO, and a single 1 NC auxiliary contact is built in for feedback or interlocking.
The 9 A AC-3 rating at ≤440 V is the motor-switching current — this contactor will handle a 3-phase motor drawing up to 9 A under full load, with the ability to break the motor's locked-rotor current during starting. The AC-1 rating (resistive load) is higher, but for motor duty the AC-3 figure governs selection. The 72 V DC coil operates reliably from 0.7 to 1.3 times nominal voltage (roughly 50.4 to 93.6 V DC) and drops out at ≥0.1 Uc below 50 °C. Coil energisation closes the NO contacts in 30 to 40 ms; de-energisation opens them in 10 to 20 ms. The 1.8 W hold-in power means minimal heat in a crowded panel. Mechanical durability is rated at 30 million cycles, and electrical durability at 1.3 million cycles at 9 A AC-3. The B10d value of 1,369,863 cycles under nominal load (per EN/ISO 13849-1) supports use in safety-related control circuits up to certain performance levels. The IP20 finger-safe protection (per VDE 0106) means it is suitable for installation inside an enclosed panel where no water or dust ingress is expected.
Mounts on either a DIN rail or a flat plate. Power connections accept ring terminals with a 7 mm outer diameter. The 1 NC auxiliary contact is instantaneous — no delay.
