The 48 V AC 50/60 Hz control coil draws 30 VA inrush and 4.5 VA hold-in power. It is designed for control-panel duty switching resistive loads like heaters or lighting banks.
The 20 A AC-1 rating is the conventional free-air thermal current (Ith) at 50 °C, meaning the contactor can carry 20 A continuously through the power circuit in resistive-duty applications. For motor loads, the AC-3 rating would be lower — this part is specified for resistive loads per its utilisation category. The 48 V AC coil operates between 0.8 and 1.15 times nominal voltage (38.4 to 55.2 V) and drops out between 0.2 and 0.75 Uc (9.6 to 36 V). Coil energisation and de-energisation times run 10 to 20 ms. Rated breaking capacity reaches 110 A at 440 V, 80 A at 500 V, and 70 A at 660–690 V per IEC 60947. The associated fuse recommendation is 25 A gG or 25 A aM for the power circuit.
The contactor carries certification to EN/IEC 60947-4-1, UL 60947-4-1, CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1, GB/T 14048.4, and JIS C8201-4-1. Flame retardance meets V1 per UL 94 and NF F 16-101/102 requirements. The safety reliability metric B10d is 1,369,863 cycles under nominal load per EN/ISO 13849-1.
