The LC1K12004R7 is a TeSys K 4-pole contactor with four normally open (4 NO) power poles, a 440 V AC 50/60 Hz coil, and an AC-1 utilisation category rating of 20 A at ≤440 V for resistive loads. It is certified to EN/IEC 60947-4-1, UL 60947-4-1, CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1, and JIS C8201-4-1, making it accepted in North American, European, and Japanese regulatory jurisdictions. The conventional free-air thermal current (Ith) is 20 A at 50 °C for the power circuit, and the rated breaking capacity reaches 110 A at 440 V, 80 A at 500 V, and 70 A at 660–690 V per IEC 60947.
The AC-1 rating of 20 A at ≤440 V governs resistive loads such as heaters or lighting — not motor starting (AC-3). For motor duty, the contactor is not rated in AC-3, so a different TeSys K variant with an AC-3 rating would be needed. The 440 V AC coil operates at 50/60 Hz with a hold-in power consumption of 4.5 VA and inrush of 30 VA at 20 °C; control voltage limits are 0.8–1.15 Uc for pick-up and 0.2–0.75 Uc for drop-out below 50 °C. The 4 NO pole configuration means all four poles switch the line side — no auxiliary contacts are built in. The associated fuse rating is 25 A gG or 25 A aM for the power circuit. Mechanical robustness is documented: the closed contactor withstands shocks of 10 Gn on X axis and 15 Gn on Y/Z axes per IEC 60068-2-27, and vibrations of 4 Gn at 5–300 Hz when closed.
